What are the target fish?

Target fish include Catfish, Striped Bass, Redfish and Sea Trout in Lake Wateree, Lake Wylie offer some of the most rewarding experiences for anglers. Catfish are the most commonly caught species at these lakes. They provide a great challenge to anglers due to their large size and active behavior when hooked on bait or lures. Stripers also frequent these waters and can be found schooling near shorelines during certain times of year.

Where do I get a STATE Fishing license?

A South Carolina fishing license is required for individuals aged 16 years and older. Seperate saltwater and freswhater licenses are required depending on where you plan to fish and what fish species you seek to target. A license is not needed when fishing with a licensed charter captain in salt water. How much should I Tip?

It is customary to tip 20% of the trip total. We work tirelessly to make sure you have a guest experience!


Do I need to bring my own gear?

No, we provide standard gear such as rods and reels so you don’t need to worry about anything. But please feel free to bring you own gear if you prefer.
